Limerick PPN Linkage Group Meetings

The initial meetings of two of Limerick PPN’s Linkage Groups will take place online via Zoom in October. This will be an opportunity for Limerick PPN Linkage Group members to get an introduction to the council committee they are aligned to, the PPN structures and how they work, and to meet the elected PPN representatives who sit on these committees.

Details of the the two meetings are as follows:

Thursday October 8th 2020, 7:30 to 9pm: First meeting of the Linkage Group linked to the Local Community Development Committee

Facilitator: Secretariat member, Michael Quilligan

Agenda

  1. Welcome and introductions (15mins)
  2. Introduction to PPN structures/communications, in particular (40mins):
      • Linkage Groups and support for PPN reps
      • Statements of Outcomes – use and rationale
      • Salesforce Chattergroup for the Linkage Group members
  1. Presentation on the LCDC by Seamus O’Connor of Limerick City and County Council (20mins)
  2. Consideration on next steps for the Linkage Group (15mins)

Tuesday October 13th 2020, 7:30 to 9pm: First meeting of the Linkage Group linked to the Economic Development, Enterprise and Planning SPC

Facilitator: Secretariat member, Jack O’Connor

Agenda:

  1. Welcome and introductions (15mins)
  2. Introduction to PPN structures/communications, in particular (40mins):
      • Linkage Groups and support for PPN reps
      • Statements of Outcomes – use and rationale
      • Salesforce Chattergroup for the Linkage Group members
  1. Presentation on the SPC by Pat Fitzgerald of Limerick City and County Council (20mins)
  2. Consideration on next steps for the Linkage Group (15mins)

All Limerick PPN members of these two Linkage Group are invited to attend these virtual meetings on Zoom and should have received an invite via email.
